Often people speak of being open-minded as a way of discrediting a belief in God. However, in this talk, I argue that we need to look beyond closed explanations for existence and open our minds to admit our desire for God. This is a basic argument that suffering and joy are two fundamental aspects of experience that point to the existence of God.
