What if volunteering is not what we think it is?

The word “volunteering” brings a very specific picture to mind. But if there is one thing volunteering teaches you is that this picture is often far from reality.

In this episode Gloria, ESC volunteer in Ser Joven’s office, and Reyhan, ESC volunteer in ONCE, are here to debunk some myths. They are in two different moments of their journey:

Reyhan is about to finish her volunteering experience and return home, while Gloria is only halfway through hers. Between games, debates and a very special interview, they will take you behind the scenes of an ESC volunteering experience.

And, of course, they leave some questions open. Because volunteering is not about having all the answers. Nor is it just about making an impact on the world around us. It is also about allowing the world to change us.
