Isn’t it all because of money?

You start a business.

What’s the end goal?

You go to college.

What’s the end goal?

You want someone to mow the lawn?

What do you need?

What will the other person ask for?

You see?

Everything runs on money.

The Buddhist will say money is bad.

They will tell you to not chase after it.

But your entire life’s purpose is to make money.

The monks, on the other hand, will either get donations or beg for food.

What are donations, and what buys you food?

See?

They are hypocrites.

They too, chase after money.

And we have no choice but to do so.

Our livelihoods depend on it.

How will you buy food?

How will you pay rent?

How will you survive?

Now, what you do with your money, you do with it.

But remember, every decision will have consequences.

You may spend lavishly if you want.

But remember, you may not have it when you need it.

Because everything runs on money.
