This time we are hosting selected artists who participated in the SPECULUM ARTIUM festival. We asked each of them the same questions about their work and technologies. The episode is partly in English and partly in Slovenian. The festival has been annually taking over the Workers’ Center of Trbovlje since 2009, occasionally spilling out on the streets as well. Speculum Artium was first held a year earlier in Ljubljana, under the leadership of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design. The following year, it came under the Culture Institute Delavski dom Trbovlje (DDT) management. The festival was born at the transition of a once mining-industrial town entering its next development era.
