Eddy Alvarez is a professional baseball player with the Miami Marlins organization. He won a Silver Medal in Speed Skating at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi and is heading to Tokyo with Team USA baseball in a quest to become only the 3rd American (and 6th overall) ever to medal in both a Winter and Summer Olympic sport.
