There is no better feeling when you are a kid than the firstday of summer. Teachers pulled out all the stops to keep our interests high in the classroom as the battle between education and apathy played out until that last day. Little did we know that a subversive and starchy plot was employed by the staff to maintain control until the final bell signaled the end of the school year.
