-21 | King's Chapel Live StreamWhat do you do when your past won't stop haunting you?Even after seventeen years of kindness from Joseph, his brothers still lived under the weight of guilt. When their father Jacob died, they feared Joseph would finally take revenge. Their circumstances had changed, but their guilty consciences had not.In this message from Genesis 50, we see how unresolved guilt gives birth to fear, and fear drives us into hiding. Like Joseph's brothers, we often know God's promises but struggle to believe His grace is really for us.The good news is that God does not expose our guilt to shame us. He exposes it so He can free us. Joseph cared for his brothers, but only Jesus, the greater Joseph, can remove our guilt completely. At the cross, Christ took our sin upon Himself and bore the judgment we deserved. Guilt tells us we will never be enough, but Jesus declares that His grace is sufficient. True comfort is not found in ignoring our guilt but in trusting the Savior who has already paid for it.If you are carrying shame, fear, or regret, this message points you to the only One who can quiet a guilty conscience and give lasting peace.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborGenesis 50 sermon, Joseph and his brothers, guilt and grace, overcoming guilt through Christ, Christian sermon on forgiveness, Jesus the better Joseph, guilty conscience Bible, Genesis Bible study, King's Chapel Longwood FL
