–6:9 | King’s Chapel Live StreamWe live in a world that tells us more is always better. More money, more comfort, more stuff. But what happens when you get it all and still feel empty? In this message from Ecclesiastes 5:8–6:9, we take an honest look at what Solomon discovered about the pursuit of wealth apart from God. He doesn't just warn us. He walks us through it. The systems of this world are broken by sin. Corruption trickles down from the top. And the things we spend our lives chasing cannot deliver what only God can give.Solomon shows us the powerless pursuit of money. The more you have, the more you want, and hoarding what we've been given only leads to grief. Possessions don't satisfy. They can't. They were never designed to.But this passage doesn't leave us there. There is One who can fix what is broken. One who can fill what is empty. And in Him, joy is not something we chase. It's something we receive. In Christ, joy is a gift, not a reward for accumulating enough. If you've ever felt the pressure to earn more, hold tighter, or build bigger and still felt like something was missing, this message speaks directly to that ache. Real contentment is found not in what you own, but in who owns you.Series: The Vanity of Life Under the Sun Without the Son, Part 9Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our NeighborEcclesiastes sermon, money and the Bible, contentment in Christ, King's Chapel Longwood FL, powerless pursuit of wealth, biblical wisdom on money, Solomon Ecclesiastes 5, joy in Christ sermon, corruption and justice Bible, Christian living sermon
