Episode 11 is entitled #UnconventionalParenting, this episode sparked from a comment Chelsea Hicks made on #LoveAfterLoss, she states that as a Step Parent you have to love your step children just a little bit more than you love your biological children, and I felt that... I felt that because I had a Step Mother my whole life, and while she may have felt she was giving me love my whole life, I didn’t feel it until I was 17. I love her dearly and unconditional now, but it wasn’t always like that. I can only imagine the pressure some may feel as a step parent, the need to over compensate, or the disconnect you might feel since this is not your bio child.
