Put on your seatbelts and lock up the neighborhood cats because this week we're taking a trip back to 1993 for the sci-fi/horror/creature feature Man’s Best Friend!Max is just your run of the mill dog spliced with DNA from cheetahs, bears, and... chameleons. Once his sedatives wear off, the body count starts rising in this absolute beast of a B-movie.

To survive the carnage, we needed a beer with a bite equally fierce. Enter Hellhound IPA from our local brewery Sawstone Brewing Co.. A bold, resinous West Coast IPA boasting a 7.6% ABV, a sturdy malt backbone, and a heavy dose of piney, bitter hops. With enough flavor to match anything that Max 3000 could throw at us we knew we found the perfect pairing.
