Our lives can be related to water fountains. If we have more coming out of our lives, or if we are giving out more than we are getting, then at some point we are going to run dry. Depending on the types of relationships we have, we are either going to be building them on a strong foundation or a weak foundation. When it comes to relationships with people, our ability to connect with others is going to be determined by our willingness to take a look at things from other people’s perspectives, seeing their point of view and getting to understand them on a deeper level.
