ಗುಡುಗು , ಸಿಡಿಲು ಮಳೆಗಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವೇ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ .  ಗುಡುಗು ಕೇಳುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಸಿಡಿಲು ಕಾಣುವುದೂ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ .  ಆದರೆ , ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ  ಇದನ್ನು ಮನಗಂಡು ಗುಡುಗು , ಸಿಡಿಲಿನ ಸುತ್ತ ಹೆಣೆದಿರುವ ಈ ಕತೆ ,  ಸಿಡಿಲನ್ನು ಚೂಟಿ ಟಗರಿಗೂ ,  ಗೂಡುಗನ್ನು  ಮಗನನ್ನು ಸರಿ ಹಾದಿಗೆ  ತರುವ ಅಮ್ಮನಿಗೂ  ಹೋಲಿಸುವ  ಮೂಲಕ ಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ  ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ  ಅನುಭವ  ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ .
