Sahar Quaze is an writer with a difference who digs into the depths of social evils and interprets them in her own mellifluous manner, bringing in real-life characters and the interplay of relationships through exclusive dialogues. 

She has been a well-known media professional for the past decade and has worked with newly launched media ventures like Sudarshan News Channel, Dharm News Channel and Cinema TV. Sahar has been part of the core channel team, and handled a plethora of departments, from public relations to communications to writing.

Sahar is an avid traveller; her stories stem from many real-life characters she meets and researches on various trips. Sahar’s interpretation of good storytelling is about characterization and their pains, travails and needs. Sahar defines wounds as ‘ghosts of the past’ that keep coming and going in one’s life and profoundly impact every action in life. 

Sahar illustrates wounds as Traumatic Events, Misplaced trust and betrayals, Childhood Wounds, Injustice and Hardship, Crime and Victimization, Disabilities and Disfigurement, and Failures and mistakes. 

Once she decides which kind of wound makes sense for her character, it becomes easier to zero in on the trauma that has befallen him/her. Then it becomes a simple matter of examining a short list of possibilities to determine which one is haunting her character, impacting him/her even into the current story. Sahar quotes, ”wounds have long-lasting effects that are, sadly, true to life. When we take the time to discover what this event is for the characters and how it might impact them, they instantly become more realistic and compelling to readers.”

Sahar has written the much-acclaimed award-winning soap operas and feature and digital films. Sahar is doing the challenging job of exploring Male & Female Protagonists from a Millennial Female’s perspective. 

Sahar was born on the 20th June, in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and was raised in Bareilly City, in an Aristocratic Family.
