Hundreds of thousands of Israelis observed a general strike on Sunday urging the government to reach a  Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal and end the war in Gaza. 

Itamar Ya'ar , the former deputy head of the National Security Council told KAN's Mark Weiss why he supported the strike.
