This Platycerium was larger than any other and had shimmering silver fronds that seemed to glow in the sunlight.
The queen was immediately enchanted by the beauty of the Platycerium and knew that it was no ordinary plant. She approached it with reverence and spoke to it in a gentle voice. To her amazement, the Platycerium responded, its fronds rustling gently in the breeze.

But one day, a dark and evil sorcerer came to Elvandar, seeking to take the Platycerium for himself. He believed that the Platycerium's powers could make him invincible, and he was determined to have it at any cost.
The queen knew that she could not let the sorcerer take the Platycerium and summoned all her magical powers to protect it. A fierce battle ensued, but the queen and her army were no match for the sorcerer's dark magic.
In a final act of desperation, the queen called upon the Platycerium to help her. To her amazement, the Platycerium responded, and its fronds began to glow with a brilliant silver light. The light grew brighter and brighter, until it engulfed the entire kingdom.
