We place so much importance on names, which in reality are just some random words that society has deemed okay to use as unique identifiers. Names are largely influenced by culture, that particular point in time and your parents upbringing and these words have a large place in our heart, yet very rarely do we choose our own. This episode Rowse and I discuss the importance of names, nicknames, how government and employers identify us as numbers and not these names that we know ourselves to be. It will be interesting to see if and how names will change over the next 100 years.
