This week on Jumping into Jupiter, I’m talking about what it’s like having younger friends and realizing we’re living in totally different worlds. They grew up online — confident, connected, and constantly visible — while I was over here picking my MySpace song and hoping my T9 texts sent.
I reflect on the social media generation gap, how our timelines feel so out of sync, and how funny it is that we once got lectures about not talking to strangers online — and now we marry them. It’s a lighthearted, thoughtful look at how each generation defines connection and what it means to grow up under the same sky, just in different orbits.
