A popular phrase within the church is to "surrender to God." But, have you ever wondered, what does it actually mean to surrender or submit to the will of God. Outside sources may make it seem as if this is an oppressive idea or process. This is why I feel it is necessary for us to seek the word of God to find out what it actually means. Our world is constantly changing in all aspects. Which can lead to a lot of confusion when we desperately try to keep up with it. Thankfully, the word of God is active and consistent.
