Lindsay McKenzie is an author, adventurer, and soon-to-be adoptive mama. After 2 years of infertility, Lindsay and her husband decided to embrace a life "detour" and travel the U.S. full-time in their RV with their 2 dogs. They've documented their infertility journey and their travels on their blog, but Lindsay was also inspired to write Follow Your Detour, the book, in March of this year. They are now taking a new detour and have started the adoption process, 5 years after discovering they can't have biological children together.
