The Johnson County Task Force on Aging hosts a round-table discussion with the Director of the Iowa Department on Aging, Linda Miller, at the Coralville Library. The format is a discussion with Director Miller on the issues and concerns raised by those attending.
Director Miller was appointed by Governor Branstad in December 2016. She was a State Representative from Bettendorf for the past decade, serving as chair of the Human Resources Committee for six years. She chose not to run for re-election in 2016. She is a registered nurse. She sees Advocacy as an important part of her job.
