Show notes
Today on The John McGinness Show the debate over the "Stop Nick Shirley Act", also known as AB 2624, may reveal where Californians place their priorities, with supporters arguing there is no reason to be upset if an untrained citizen journalist is simply documenting and reporting what they see. Others contend that anyone opposed to the bill should clearly explain their concerns as callers weigh in with a wide range of opinions on the measure. With the legislation now having passed, attention turns to whether Governor Gavin Newsom will sign it into law.
