Tristan Champion is working as Digital Marketing Manager in an international company. He is a 36 yo french father married to a Norwegian wife. His engagement toward gender equality started when the family decided to move from Paris to Oslo. For the birth of their second child, Tristan experienced the Nordic model of longer and shared parental leave that contrasted with his french experience of 11 days of leave for their first baby .Tristan started to blog about his new everyday life : 5 months alone with his baby, barbapapa blog (https://barbapapa.blog) that found strong echo within young french parents. He step by step analysed the strength of the Norwegian model on gender equality, wrote many articles and a book "La barbe et le biberon" to raise awareness of the Norwegian model of which he became an expert. He initiated the creation of a group of French engaged fathers that acted as lobbyists to influence the french Government to reform their Paternity leave policy.
