<p>Jane's waking up happened gradually over a period of years but she had an epiphany after visiting the London Bethel and realising that the religion was really just a publishing company.</p>

My name is Riley and I'm a former Jehovah's Witness.

In 2020, I woke up to the fact that the Jehovah's Witnesses are not "the one true religion" as I was raised to believe. In fact, the religion is a high-control group, which causes a lot of harm to current and former members.
