The phone screen is the very first step of the interview process.  Are you the type that gets intimidated or unsure about what to expect?  In this episode of Jess Get Hired, we will talk about the steps to help you prepare if you get a call from a recruiter or hiring manager.  A phone screen gives the company a chance to get to know you quickly and for you to learn more about them.  It is a casual conversation that lasts about 15-30 minutes to see if you meet the qualifications, learn more about you and your personality, see if your experience lines up with the job description and if you would be a good fit for the company.  This is also a chance for you to ask questions to determine if this is even the right company for you!
Phone screens don't have to be intimidating if you prepare for it!  We will share a few strategies and tips to help you get through this important step to get closer to the job that you want.
We will go over:
Why a phone screen is a necessary step to the hiring process.
