For our surprise summer blockbuster, we absolutely had to go with the Steven Spielberg classic, Jaws. With a budget around $7 million, this film made over $8 million in just the opening weekend, and in total surpassed $471 million. With compelling, well-crafted storytelling and a judicious sense of terror, Spielberg's 'Jaws' has remained a benchmark in the art of delivering modern blockbuster thrills. 

It's Independence Day! Let's celebrate by going to an island with a white-sand beach and friendly people. There's rumored to be a human hunting shark, but the mayor insists it was only a motor accident. Off we go!
