I interviewed Dr Mark McLaughlin, author of Cognitive Dominance: A Brain Surgeon's Quest to Out-Think Fear. We discussed philosophy, surgery, a day in the life of a surgeon, responsibility, wrestling, and late bloomers. It was a fascinating conversation. I'd recommend this to med students and anyone else wanting to learn to deal with fear and anxiety.
