Jank It Up, Fuzzball

Brian P.
Jank It Up, Fuzzball is a podcast looking at the casual side of Star Wars: Destiny, as told by one player's experiences with the game. I'm your host, Brian, and my goal is to shine a light on lesser-used characters and cards from the FFG game.

Somehow Jank It Up Returned
Greg and I sit down together – in the same room! – and discuss playing through a very unique box battle using a most generous gift. We also chat about playing on TTS for over a year but now being really excited to physically roll some dice again. Lastly, we report on our first experience with the Destiny SMASH format developed by Dice Commando, and even crack a couple of packs! Enjoy this penultimate episode of Jank It Up, Fuzzball!---Podcast theme music: "District Four" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Jabba Strikes Back
After pulling a Jabba the Hutt from Way of the Force at the end of Episode 34, I decided to dive back into deckbuilding with the Renowned Gangster. How many different dice cards featuring specials can one cram into a deck? Well it's time to find out! I built an updated red version and a brand new blue version to try and stop my skid of losing the Greg. And here's some words you probably never thought you'd hear: Kylo Ren's Starfighter FTW! ---Want to support the podcast and get $30 back for yourself? Han and Qi'Ra Die A Lot
What's a person to do with new copies of both Han Solo, Old Swindler and Entourage? Well, build a scoundrel deck, of course! I'm back to talk about my adventures in trying to make Han4/Qi'Ra work in some casual games. You know what they say: Profiteering ain't easy. Jank It Up, Fuzzball is on social media!Twitter: @jankitupInstagram: jankitupfuzzballFacebook: Jank It Up, Fuzzball---Podcast theme music: "District Four" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Destiny Neapolitan
I'm back to discuss the concept of building blue, yellow, and red decks around a singular character. Think Neapolitan ice cream, but with Destiny instead. Before that, however, I felt compelled to discuss how and why I asked for – and received – a refund from Fantasy Flight Games for my Destiny Worlds ticket. That money is now being put to far greater good with the Minnesota Freedom Fund. I share some thoughts on Black Lives Matter and discuss wanting to be a better ally and more actively fight against racism. Thanks for tuning in. ---Show Notes:I've made several donations following the death of George Floyd to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, including a recent one in the amount of my Worlds ticket cost. I discussed the Sul Ross statue on the campus of my alma mater, Texas A&M University. Here's an article from the school newspaper about two petitions going around -- one to remove the statue and another to keep it. Lastly, here's a really interesting essay on what racism and white privilege actually mean. ---Jank It Up, Fuzzball is on social media!Twitter: @jankitupInstagram: jankitupfuzzballFacebook: Jank It Up, Fuzzball---Podcast theme music: "District Four" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
