Fred works for the PGHM which is Chamonix's mountain rescue service, one of the busiest and most technically competent in the world. In addition to this he is a very competent Alpinist (and Guide) as well as a great paragliding pilot.
Fred tells us how he started with the PGHM and how they operate as a team. He goes on to tell us about his thoughts on flying and alpinism in the mountains, offering great advice.
we learn about a VolBiv trip to India which didn't quite go to plan and finally how he rationalises the rescues that he is involved in on a very regular basis into his own personal life and activities.
