A fiery, sweeping judgment takes Babylon or the Glory of Kingdoms on the last day and the last hour of the Great Tribulation Period, which is clearly in the context of the return of Jesus Christ in Isaiah 13-14.  This fiery overthrow is also confirmed in the parallel passages of the destruction of Babylon, which are Isaiah 47, the Book of Habakkuk, Isaiah 17-18, Jeremiah 50-51, and Revelation
