The most important prophecy in the Bible is the 70 7s in Daniel 9.  The focus here is Daniel's people, the Jews, and his holy city, Jerusalem.  The church of the living God is a different program than the nation of Israel.  And, when thinking about the rapture, the church will be delivered from the Tribulation Period, as it is not appointed to wrath.  The nation of Israel, however,  will be required to go through it as a refining process, and to prepare them for the coming of their great King, Jesus Christ.
