Rachel and Tracy are delighted to welcome Char Green-Maximo, South Dakota Urban Indian Health’s Grant Project Manager, to the podcast for a conversation all about connection and culture! Char shares her passion for creating and promoting safe communities that inspire physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, as well as embracing and offering opportunities for healing and lifelong learning. She shares the importance of leaning into culture and connection as safeguards against unhealthy or risky behaviors, while celebrating the renewal of positive energy and refreshment of spirit that comes from consistent interactions with one another. Char also expands on the comprehensive care and services provided by South Dakota Urban Indian Health, including cultural activities.
