Today we feature two chamber groups from Midwest Young Artists Conservatory &#8211; one piano trio, and one string quartet.
The violinists of these groups have appeared previously on Introductions: 
&#8211; Ruth Kim played in the Ardente String Quartet <a href="https://www.wfmt.com/2020/08/22/ardente-string-quartet-trio-primavera/">in August 2020</a> and <a href="&quot;https://www.wfmt.com/2021/08/07/ardente-string-quartet-sprezzatura-quartet-quartet-feroce/'">in August 2021</a>; 
&#8211; John Lee gave a live solo recital <a href="https://www.wfmt.com/2023/05/20/live-john-lee-18-violin/">in May 2023</a> and appeared previously in other chamber groups; 
&#8211; Vincenzo Zuppardo previously appeared with Quartet Feroce <a href="https://www.wfmt.com/2021/08/07/ardente-string-quartet-sprezzatura-quartet-quartet-feroce/">in August 2021</a>.

Introductions is WFMT’s weekly Saturday morning program that features talented pre-college classical musicians in the Chicago area. Soloists and chamber ensembles perform live in WFMT’s Levin Performance Studio. Large ensembles, including orchestras, choirs, and bands, are recorded at their home venues and broadcast at later dates. The program also features youth music competition winners. While many students who appear on Introductions pursue other careers, some have gone on to study music at some of the most prestigious music schools around the world and pursue careers as professional musicians.
