Cast Away的配乐是阿甘式的，动人的弦乐，钢琴和双簧管。遗憾的是只发行过商业版的合集，在里面也只占了7分钟时间，而且后半部分海水声成了主角。配乐长度短也是有原因的，影片在前一个半小时内没有加入任何音符，只是随着故事发展在最后得以涌现。这张23分钟的promo版配乐将这美好的旋律延长了三倍，几乎收录了Alan Silvestri所有的音乐。\n\nAlan Silvestri自从1992年开始正式涉足交响乐之后便佳作不断，《Back to the Future》、《Who Framed Roger Rabbit》、《Abyss》和《Forrest Gump》以及之后的《Contact》（这些几乎都收录在了官方版本的Cast Away合集里）可谓是家喻户晓，这也让Alan Silvestri迅速窜升一流作曲家行列。但是近年来Alan Silvestri的配乐作品大多以半歌半曲形式问世，像是《What Women Wan》、《Lilo & Stitc》还有《The Polar Express》，不过可喜的是这些都存在着Promo和Bootleg版本，而Promo和Bootleg的数量正是音乐作品是否受欢迎的一个指标，可见Alan Silvestri人气还是非常高的。 Powered by Firstory Hosting
