One of my favorite bands growing up was the Smashing Pumpkins and one of their more popular songs starts off saying "the world is a vampire, set to drain" and let me tell you it seems the world is getting a little rougher out there right now!  

Interest rates are climbing high, the political climate is a bit of a mess, the value of the dollar has gone down and recession seems to be here.
