<p>Underneath the behavior of teenagers are thoughts and emotions that have long been there. There are two primal emotions which are unconscience: love and fear. All of our behavior stems from whether we approach conversations, confrontations or other communication with a preset switch to either love or fear. When parenting we need to know if we are approaching our kids out of love or fear and equaliy be aware of they are approaching us out of love or fear. This ultimately effects all behavior, especially for the teenager.</p>

Raising great teens doesn't just happen. It takes extreme intentionality on the part of parent.  But when life is flying a million miles a minute, most of what we do with our teen is reactive and last minute. We want to give you space to think through what parenting on purpose can look like; as well as, an opportunity to do more than talk about intentionality with your teen, but actually do it.
