Summary

Embracing God’s Plan is a reminder that God does not always remove the challenges we face. Sometimes He allows us to walk through difficult seasons so we can learn to depend on His strength instead of our own. Just as the believers in Acts 4 prayed for courage and boldness rather than simply asking for their problems to disappear, we can ask God to strengthen us for whatever lies ahead. Brokenness does not always mean defeat. In God’s hands, it can become a place of spiritual growth, surrender, wisdom, stronger faith, and ultimately spiritual victory. We may not understand God’s plan while we are living through it, but we can trust that He is with us and working within us.

Key Takeaways

  • God may not remove every problem, but He can give us the strength to endure it.
  • Sometimes God strips away self-reliance so we learn to rely more fully on Him.
  • Difficult seasons can develop faith, patience, courage, wisdom, and spiritual maturity.
    • Brokenness in God’s hands can become a place of transformation rather than defeat.
    • We can pray not only for God to change our circumstances, but also for Him to strengthen us within them.
    • Embracing God’s plan means trusting Him even when we cannot see or understand the entire journey.

    Key Points

    • Trust over understanding: We don’t have to understand everything God is doing in order to trust Him.
    • Strength over self-reliance: When our own strength is no longer enough, we are reminded where our true strength comes from.
    • Growth through adversity: What feels like a setback may become the very season that strengthens our relationship with God.
    • Spiritual victory: Victory isn’t always the disappearance of the problem. Sometimes victory is discovering that you have changed because of what God brought you through.
