Since its early days in 1971, Greenpeace (at the time called “Do not make a wave” committee) has believed in making the invisible, visible, for instance while protesting against the American nuclear tests in Amchitka, an island off the coast of Alaska. Almost 50 years later, Greenpeace is still at sea documenting marine ecosystems and shedding light on the threats they face.

With the voices of Lambert Wilson, Edina Ifticene (Oceans campaigner at Greenpeace France), Thiago Almeida (Climate & Energy campaigner at Greenpeace Brazil), Amandine Bordin (Scientific observer - GEPOG)

Music by Alessandro Montanari and Renato Rinaldi, recorded aboard the Esperanza
