James A materially wealthy person can live a spiritually impoverished life, while a person living in poverty can be rich in the things of God. James teaches us that, whether we face poverty or prosperity, we must strive to pass the tests of life, persevere through the trials we face, and learn the proper attitude and practice of Gospel Exaltation and Gospel Humiliation.
