Olivier Pailhes is the Co-Founder Aircall, a cloud-based computer telephony system that got its start in a startup studio in Paris in 2013. Since then, the company has scaled tremendously, becoming France's 16th unicorn — that is, a company valued at over $1B — and more recently achieving centaur status, reaching $100M in annual recurring revenue. Olivier and I talk about the early days of the business, the challenges that come with scale, and how he thinks about the future of Aircall as a high-growth, pre-IPO scale-up.
