The Null Maidens, the Anathema Psykana, or as they are known to us  outside of the universe of Warhammer 40k, the Sisters of Silence are the  grim and silent warriors against Chaos itself. They are psychic nulls,  soulless humans that are anathema to the forces of chaos, but also  potent anti-psychers.  They work extensively with the Adepteus Custodes  in a force known in the Galaxy as the Talons of the Emperor.   They run the black ships, bringing the 1000 psychers a day to Terra from  across the Imperium of Man to be sacrificed to the Emperor of Mankind,  keeping him alive and maintaining the astronomicon.   Sonam is still working on her sisters...
