In this episode, Carolyn shares a Devotional to Surge Your EN’ERGY in Christ from her Bible Study Course, Resurgence – Still Living in His Spirit. Today’s title is Perseverance During Times of Ease (Acts 27-28).

Character building is vital for Believers. But we can’t build character without resistance. Paul encouraged the disciples by teaching them the way the ancients persevered to build faith during resistance to their enemies.

Will the testing of your faith produce perseverance? The Lord gives us a rest on occasion to live without hindrances. Yet, He tests our faith with resistance from our enemies to build godly character and strengthen our faith. Could we be living in the days of testing as mentioned in Revelation?

o Resist the enemy’s attempts to violently and openly rob your faith, testimony, and voice.

o Strengthen your faith in the Lord and His Word to build character, perseverance, and

hope.

o Persevere for Jesus to keep you from the hour of trial coming upon the whole world.
