This week’s guest is our good friend, John Cates!  John is the founder and Creative Producer at Cates Collaborative, which offers creative services and video production.  He specializes in creating content that genuinely reflects a company’s story through video, and recently added animation to the list of services offered.

We spoke about storytelling being a buzz word in the video production industry, the importance of giving your audience a reason to watch your content, and how a businesses promotional material needs to be genuine and authentic to work.

We also had many laughs about the tree cutting, new drink ideas, and how bad branded content really sticks out.
