On January 29th, 2020, as Tomiwa prepared to graduate, he began to plan his budget for post-grad life. To his surprise, he discovered that he had accumulated $64,000 in debt. This realization made him question how we, as a society, have allowed the average student to begin their career 28k behind the starting line. Determined to address this issue, Tomiwa decided to take on the challenge himself and founded Atila, a platform designed to help students secure scholarships and mentorship opportunities.
