Gaël is a post-doctoral researcher at UCD and studies the opening of the Atlantic Ocean and how its rifting affected the development of basins offshore Ireland. He tells us about the many expeditions at sea that he partook in, his passion for exploring the oceans and his interest for Icelandic witchcraft.
