I know this issue with old people cannot be getting ONLY under MY skin. Why do older people believe that being an ELDER or ELDERLY garners them automatic respect...  Then they feel like they can talk to how ever they please.  I think you all know by now, I do not roll that way. You're dang on right, I am not afraid to let these OLD people know either..
