The opportunities to determine individual courses of life, the ability to speak freely, and powerfully critique structures which inhibit that freedom. If you actually read the lyrics, you would be surprised to find themes which are more in line with the Founding Fathers than the tyranny and oppression of political ideologies which seek to control the social, economic, and political life of citizens.
