For several years, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has made headlines in newspapers from all over the world. There seems to be a tendency towards investigative journalism becoming increasingly criminalised under the pretext of safeguarding national security. Norwegian journalist Heidi Taksdal Skjeseth sits down with Ben Wizner to talk about the consequences of the case against Assange. Wizner has for nearly 15 years worked at the intersection of civil liberties and national security while also having been the principal legal advisor to Edward Snowden.
