Ukraine has for the past few years witnessed a dramatic rise in the support for populist parties and far-right movements. This has resulted in violent clashes between supporters of liberal values and those who glorify a nationalist myth-building. There is a growing concern surrounding the ultra-nationalist attacks on the LGBTQ community and on women's rights activists, as illiberal and anti-democratic sentiments continue to spread.
This episode questions whether the liberal values - central to the 2014 Ukrainian Euromaidan revolution - will survive in the context of nationalism and conflict with Russia?
In cooperation with The Norwegian Helsinki Committee.
