Part 2 of the girls' conversation about Brendan Myers' book: Time and the Land. Last week, the girls went over Utilitarianism and Justice Theory (a.k.a. "The Good" and "The Just") through the lens of environmentalism, in an effort to answer the question, "Why should humans care about the environment?" In this episode, they cover the second two approaches in Myers' text: Kantian Deontology and Virtue Ethics ("The Right" and "The Excellent"). Maybe one of these principles will finally answer the question.
