Because of the difficult times, we are more aware of the good times. In her book, Growing a Peaceful Heart, Karen Whiting includes a prayer, a devotion focused on a biblical person, a devotion of a peacemaker from history, and three contemporary devotions in each week’s thoughts. The end of each devotional offers you a “Today's Peace Step” challenge and encourages you to find and share peace. Our peace stories reflect everyday experiences, as well as some of the harder moments, people have faced. The book is divided into three sections inner peace, relational peace, and being a peacemaker.
